BBC Children in Need is here again!

Let’s face it, there’s not a great deal to do during lockdown except, of course, to kick back and enjoy an epic star-studded show by BBC Children in Need.

This year, perhaps more than ever, Children in Need will be helping young, vulnerable people at risk across the UK. Life has been hard for them, so they need all the awareness and fundraising we can offer.

This Friday’s BBC1 show is the second Children in Need event for 2020. Earlier this year, Children In Need and Comic Relief worked together to create “The Big Night In” during Coronavirus lockdown in April. They raised an incredible £67,110,010 for charity…let’s see if we will top this on Friday!

What’s on

The two-and-a-half hour show will be hosted by Mel Giedroyc, Stephen Mangan, Alex Scott and Chris Ramsey, and includes appearances from Shawn Mendes and Beverley Knight, as well as this year’s Strictly dancers and the cast of West End musical Six.

There’ll also be comedy sketches from the casts of ‘geeza diva’ King Gary and BBC’s The Goes Wrong Show, plus star-studded fun with Children in Need’s mascot, Pudsey Bear: Behind the Bandana, and plenty more…
